CUSTOM MATTERHORN PROGRAM

At your request this Matterhorn Program includes 2 days training in the Zermatt area with one guide and 2 days climbing on the Matterhorn with 2 guides with one day of rest in between.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Meet in the morning in Zermatt and make a day climb of the Riffelhorn by taking the Gornergrat Railway.

Day 2 - Use the cable car to reach the Klein Matterhorn.  Make a day climb of Pollux or the Breithorn Half Traverse.

Day 3 – Rest Day in Zermatt with possibilities for a light day hike.  This can also be a weather/contingency day if needed.

Day 4 – Take the cablecar to Schwarzee and approach the Hornli Hut.

Day 5 – Climb the iconic Matterhorn via rock snow and ice.  Return to town in the evening.
